Bacolod shifts to digitalization

BACOLOD CITY: To avoid corruption and ensure faster transactions, the Bacolod City government is shifting to digitalization, starting with contactless processing of building permits by the Office of the Building Official (OBO).

Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez said the system is in its initial phase and involves applications for 'simple transactions,' particularly residential projects.
