THE Presidential Communications Office (PCO) is spearheading the first observance of Communications Month this October, in line with Proclamation 38, which was issued by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on Aug. 2, 2023.
As the primary source of the administration's messages, the PCO's role in promoting communication and information as a pillar of nation-building cannot be overemphasized. As such, the PCO has initiated efforts to establish stronger communication mechanisms in the executive department with the aim of deepening the involvement of the citizenry and the media in enriching the quality of public discourse on all matters of governance.
