FEU, Unilab's MGHI eye school purchase

LISTED educational services provider Far Eastern University Inc. (FEU), together with a unit of United Laboratories Inc. (Unilab), is planning to acquire the assets of a school in San Fernando, Pampanga.

In a disclosure, FEU said its board of trustees had authorized the university to enter into a shareholders' agreement with Unilab's MGHI Holdings Inc., under which both will each invest up to P300 million in Higher Academia Inc. (HAI), for a total equity investment of P600 million.
