Mervin Pobre named MaxiLife's new president, CEO

MAXICARE Life Insurance Corp. (MaxiLife) announced the appointment of Mervin Pobre as the company's new chief executive officer (CEO), effective on Aug. 1, 2023. He succeeded Jose Pastor Puno, the company's founding CEO.

Under Puno's guidance, MaxiLife insured 350,000 policyholders in the company's first five months of commercial operations. MaxiLife was also recognized with a 'Great place to work' certification while forging robust strategic partnerships.
