THE construction of the K9 Academy, a collaborative effort of the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) and Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), is 75 percent finished.
PPA General Manager Jay Santiago said the K9 Academy in Barangay Dolores, Sitio Bana in Mabalacat, Pampanga, is the first of its kind in Southeast Asia. It can accommodate at least 128 K9 dogs and 100 handlers once completed.
