CABARROGUIS, Quirino: To provide the local Indigenous Peoples (IP) youth with opportunities to learn more about the Ifugao culture and arts, Didipio Mine has committed to supporting the Culture Revitalization Program with various stakeholders.
Lawyer Joan Adaci-Cattiling, president of OceanaGold (Philippines) Inc. and general manager for External Affairs and Social Performance, said that through this program, local IP youth are learning more about the culture and arts such as gong-beating (gangsa), ethnic dance (tayaw) and songs, and hone traditional skills such as Ifugao-style weaving.
