AROUND 50 assorted loose firearms have been surrendered to authorities in Mindanao while a terrorist was killed following the military's intensified campaign for the barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan elections (BSKE).
The joint efforts by the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) to recover illegally possessed guns aimed to clear communities of firearms which might be used as tools of violence during the polls.
