Cloudy skies, isolated rain showers forecast over Northern Luzon—Pagasa

THE Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said on Tuesday that the northeasterly surface wind flow is bringing overcast skies with rains over Northern Luzon. But in most parts of the country, generally-fair weather may be expected within the next 24 hours, weather specialist Grace Castaneda said.

In particular, the northeasterly surface wind flow - the wind coming from the northeast that brings mild temperature - is affecting Batanes, Cagayan and Isabela, the state-run weather agency said in a 5 a.m. advisory. The same weather system along with localized thunderstorms, is also bringing partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated downpours and thunderstorms in the afternoon or at night over Metro Manila and the rest of the country. The state weather bureau said it has not monitored any weather disturbance inside and outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility in the coming days.
