Harbor Star, Malaysian firm JV gets SEC nod

HARBOR Star Shipping Services Inc. on Monday said that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) had greenlit the incorporation of a joint venture (JV) with Malaysia-based Kaibuok Shipyard (M) Sdn. Bhd.

In a filing with the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE), the maritime services provider said Kaibuok Star Shipyard Inc. (KSSI) would have an authorized capital stock of P55 million, divided into 55 million common shares with a par value of P1.00 per share.
