RENEWABLE energy firm Alternergy Holdings Corp. said Monday it was back in the black for its fiscal year ending June 2023 as it posted a net income of P38 million, reversing the net loss of P145.18 million it had incurred last year.

In a statement, the company attributed the rebound to higher electricity sales, which rose to P171.48 million from P9.33 million last year with the consolidation of Kirahon Solar Energy Corp., which Alternergy acquired on June 10, 2022.
