PARIS: Video game Minecraft, in which players build virtual worlds, has sold 300 million copies, its creators announced on Sunday, cementing the Microsoft-owned game's status as the best-selling game ever.
In a post on its website, the game's makers said it recently "crossed 300 million copies sold," adding it was "a milestone no one could have dreamed of when we were all building our first dirt houses!"
