Woman faces raps for abducting baby

DAVAO CITY: A 36-year-old woman has been charged with kidnapping and serious illegal detention for taking a 3-month-old baby boy from his mother at Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) on Thursday, October 12.

Cpt. Hazel Tuazon, spokesman for the Davao City Police Office (DCPO), said that the Bajada Police Station filed the two cases against the suspect, identified as Rhialyn Cayatano Herrera, a native of Castillejos in Zambales and is currently residing in Barangay Mintal, Tugbok District, in the city.
