THE first batch of overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) is leaving Israel on Monday, an official from the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said on Saturday.
"At least eight overseas Filipino workers are set to leave Israel on October 16 as part of the efforts of the administration of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to bring them to safety amid the ongoing conflict," said Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Eduardo de Vega in a press briefing Friday.
