SEN. Christopher "Bong" Go, chairman of the Senate Committee on Health and Demography, underscored the importance of strengthening the country's health sector, especially after the adverse effects of the Covid-19 pandemic.
"We have seen the effect of the pandemic on our country. It is better for us to be ready.... The more that we need to invest in our health care system," he said in his speech during the groundbreaking of a Super Health Center in Plaridel, Bulacan, on Wednesday.
