SAN Miguel Corp. (SMC) on Friday said that the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) had authorized a proposed shelf offering of up to P65 billion worth of preferred shares.

SMC submitted to the stock exchange a copy of the Certificate of Filing of the Enabling Resolution issued by the SEC for its proposed sale of about 866.67 million Series "2" preferred shares, priced at P75 apiece.
