Malaysia sued over 1MDB settlement

LONDON: Goldman Sachs said on Thursday it had sued Malaysia after the Southeast Asian country pushed to redo a settlement over the United States investment bank's role in the 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) multibillion dollar scandal.

The 1MDB scandal led to investigations around the world, including in the United States, Switzerland and Singapore, into the use of their financial systems to launder money.
