UAAP suspends three referees

The University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) announced on Thursday, October 12, that it has meted a three-week suspension on three referees.

UAAP Season 86 basketball commissioner Xavier Nunag said that the league is sanctioning the three officials for accumulating subpar grades received from the Referee Game Report Card, which serves as a quantitative evaluation of their performance during UAAP basketball games.
