LOSING eight-time Premier Volleyball League (PVL) Best Setter Jia de Guzman to Denso Airybees in the Japan V.League is a big blow for the campaign of Creamline Cool Smashers in the All-Filipino Conference.
While de Guzman is practically in a league of her own, Creamline team captain Alyssa Valdez said the rest of the Cool Smashers believe that their high-octane offense will be in good hands under the leadership of Kyle Negrito, who served as de Guzman's backup for the last five years.
