THE energy crisis is a global issue — not just in the underdeveloped or developing countries.

The demand for more energy was first felt during the first Industrial Revolution in the 18th century when agricultural societies became more industrialized. The age-old reality of supply and demand is perhaps the major reason for the worsening energy situation around the world today.
