Medical, pharma sectors warn of challenges

The medical and pharmaceutical sectors are recovering from the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic but challenges still abound, industry officials said.

'While the performance is improving for both the prescription and over-the-counter market, growth rates for these are still lower than pre-pandemic levels,' Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Association of the Philippines (PHAP) Executive Director Teodoro Padilla told The Manila Times.
