Matatag curriculum: Solution to PH education woes?

As the country continues to grapple with learning poverty and the continuing challenges of post-pandemic education, the Department of Education (DepEd) is launching a new curriculum that is expected to address the issues hounding the current K-12 curriculum put in place 10 years ago.

This comes as the World Bank rated the Philippines as among the eight countries in the Asia-Pacific that have high learning deficits. The others are Cambodia, Kiribati, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Myanmar, and Papua New Guinea, Tonga, and Tuvalu.
