DTI chief: PH can maximize benefits from RCEP

The Philippines may have been late to the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) party but Trade Secretary Alfredo Pascual said he remained confident that the country would end up benefiting from membership.

'Our country's strong macroeconomic fundamentals and well-crafted structural reforms will serve us well as we confront the challenges of the current tightening of global financial markets and the prevailing inflationary pressures,' he said.
