HCPTI eyes growth through Subic

THE expansion and digitalization of the Subic Port can help boost the economy not only of areas north of Metro Manila but the entire country, a Filipino economist and infrastructure specialist said recently.

Ronilo Balbieran, an economist and teacher at the University of Asia and the Pacific, underscored the strategic location of the Subic Port and the unprecedented economic growth it can bring to the Central Luzon, Cagayan Valley, Ilocos and the Cordillera regions.
