Two boat operators triumph in Regatta de Zamboanga

BOAT operators Faizal Bayhapti and Kaisal Alano became instant toast in the Regatta de Zamboanga — one of the biggest maritime races in the region — after steering their entry vinta to victory on Sunday in Zamboanga City.

Bayhapti and Alano, both of Barangay Kasanyangan and riding on boat number 147, beat the rest of the 234 vintas that set sail from RT Lim Boulevard for the tournament serving as one of the highlights of the Zamboanga Hermosa Festival 2023.
