Truck importers back drive vs corruption

SUBIC BAY FREEPORT: A group of truck importers inside this freeport has dismissed claims made by some brokers and port users that there were extortion activities prevailing here.

In a statement on Sunday, the Subic Bay Truck Importers Association Inc. branded as 'malicious allegations' and 'false accusations' claims raised by some brokers in a recent meeting with Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chairman and Administrator Jonathan Tan.
