The Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra will have its second concert for its 39th season, Second Concert on October 13. Dubbed as 'Italian Night,' the event at is the Samsung Performing Arts Theatre will feature soloist Wen Sinn Yang, a Swiss-born cellist.

Wen Sinn Yang is one of the most versatile cellists today. His concerts revive the music of the 19th cello virtuosos namely Adrien Francois Servais and Karl Yulievich Davydov, but he also lets his audience be exposed to modern composers such as Aribert Reimann and Isang Yun.
