PRESIDENT Ferdinand Marcos Jr. has ordered the Department of Public Works and Highways-Western Visayas (DPWH-6) to speed up the rehabilitation of the Paliwan Bridge in Bugasong town, Antique province.

'Nabanggit ko na po ito sa inyo noong 2022, ngunit uulitin ko na kailangang gawing prayoridad at madaliin ang rehabilitasyon ng Paliwan Bridge (I mentioned this to you in 2022, and now I am saying it again that we need to prioritize and hasten the rehabilitation of Paliwan Bridge),' Marcos said during the distribution of smuggled rice in Antique on Friday.
