J. Amado Araneta Foundation (JAAF), the social development arm of the Araneta Group, welcomed the new Student Excellence Awardee and Scholars. JAAF did the recognition and orientation for the Class of 2027 on two occasions.
Last September 2, JAAF joined QC Mayor Joy Belmonte in honoring the 12 new JAAF Student Excellence Awardees and Scholars of QC. They were among the over 500 high school and elementary completers acknowledged for their outstanding academic and leadership performance, for which they received medals and cash incentives.
Diane Romero, JAAF Executive Director, led the Assembly at the Quezon City Public Library after the Recognition Ceremonies. The new scholars of Quezon City who were given four-year scholarships included Raisha Balili, Fatima Brequillo, Jhon Kenneth Cayabyab, Cristelle Ignas, Alesa Joquino, Eliza Llaneta, Gabriel Muyo, Janna Obierna, Celine Rogame, Zchem Tolentino, Julian Valerio, and Kirsten Zarate.
On September 6, the JAAF Bago City Scholars Class of 2027 was formally welcomed at the Bago City Community College. The new four-year scholars are composed of nine outstanding students who were graduates of public high schools, including Eugene Batolan, Rahil Calicdan, Jules Carlo Gico, Rejie Mar Matias, Ela Mea Prado, Kc-lyn Rivera, Myca Angela Rodulfa, Blessie Graze Semblante, and Franze Villarata.
JAAF Student Excellence Award and Scholarship Program is in its 4th year for the current School Year, with 90 Awardees and Scholars. It is a partnership project of the Local Government of Quezon City and Bago City through the Office of the Mayor and the Department of Education.
