THE Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) is closely monitoring two weather disturbances - a tropical storm and a low pressure area (LPA) - outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).
Weather specialist Daniel James Villamil on Sunday said the tropical storm named "Bolaven" was last spotted some 3,045 kilometers east of Visayas.
