Putin: Russia's mission is to create 'new world'

MOSCOW: Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that his country's mission was to create a 'new world' and blamed Western hegemony for Moscow's war on Ukraine.

Putin has portrayed Russia's invasion of its pro-West neighbor, launched on Feb. 24, 2022, as part of a long-standing confrontation with the West.
