Ramirez secures PH's 3rd gold medal in Asiad

PHILIPPINE jiu-jitsu fighter Annie Ramirez gave the Philippines its 3rd gold medal of the 19th Asian Games on Friday.

Ramirez defeated Kazakhstan's Galina Duvanova, 2-0, in the final of the women's 57 kilograms. She is the second jiu-jitsu fighter to win gold after world champion Meggie Ochoa, who won in the 48 kg on Thursday.
