Mountain biker Ariana Evangelista has apologized to the public on social media after she was sanctioned for failing a doping test at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, China.
In a Facebook statement from the cyclist, who participated in the women's cross-country Olympic mountain bike event in the Asian Games, she said she received a notice from the International Testing Agency (ITA) on Tuesday, October 3, and has replied to them the following day.
