TYPHOON "Jenny" further intensified but is unlikely to directly affect the country as it exits the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) either Thursday afternoon or evening, the state-run weather agency said.
The typhoon, however, is forecast to make landfall over the southern portion of Taiwan Thursday morning, weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio of the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
