PHILIPPINE vessels that were in another Rotation and Resupply (RoRe) mission on Wednesday to deliver fresh provisions to Filipino military personnel stationed on grounded BRP Sierra Madre in Ayungin (Second Thomas) Shoal encountered continuous harassment from China Coast Guard (CCG) ships and Chinese maritime militia vessels.
Ray Powell, director of SeaLight, a website monitoring developments in the West Philippine Sea/South China Sea, said the harassment was clearly observed as the Philippine vessels sailed away from Ayungin Shoal.
