HUNDREDS of university students discussed and dispelled misconceptions about blockchain during the Philippine Blockchain Week's "Block Bytes: Blockchain 101 for Students" session organized by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).

Students from Mapua University, Polytechnic University of the Philippines, De La Salle University, Our Lady of Fatima University, University of Batangas and AMA Computer Learning Center engaged in discussions, asked questions and explored practical applications of blockchain in various industries from resource person Arlone Abello, also known as Coach Miranda Miner, on September 19 to 21 at Marriott Grand Ballroom, Newport World Resorts Manila in Pasay City.
