Magnitude 6.4 quake rattles Davao Occidental

A magnitude 6.4 earthquake took place Wednesday night in Davao Occidental, according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs).

Phivolcs director Teresito 'Toto' Bacolcol said the tremor occured around 7:21 p.m. some 66 kilometers south-east of Sarangani Island.
