Mactan-Cebu airport, shut down after plane blocks runway, reopens

(UPDATE) RUNWAY 22 of the Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) was closed for more than two hours after a Cessna 208 (C208) plane, which was returning, got disabled on the runway, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said on Wednesday.

CAAP said that its operation center received an advisory about a C208 plane operated by the Philippine Air Force (PAF) that got stuck on runway 22 after landing at 2:14 a.m.
