SEC relaxes disclosure requirements for public offerings

THE Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has issued guidelines to streamline the requirements for companies intending to offer their shares out to the public.

The guidelines were issued on September 12 and 21 through SEC Memorandum Circular (MC) 13 and 14, Series of 2023, amending Annex C of Rule 12 of the 2015 Implementing Rules and Regulations of Republic Act 8799, or the 'Securities Regulation Code (SRC).'
