Paalam bows to Uzbek world champion in Asiad

Olympic silver medalist Carlo Paalam has bid his Asiad medal hopes goodbye, after losing to 2023 featherweight world champion Abdumalik Khalokov of Uzbekistan at the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou on Tuesday.

Khalakov defeated Paalam via unanimous decision in the quarterfinals of the men's 57 kg division.
