IN line with the inclusive development thrust of President Ferdinand "Bongbong" Marcos Jr.'s administration, the Department of Tourism (DoT) held the first Tourism Pride Summit at the Makati Shangri-La Hotel on September 28.
The summit gathered leading figures from the government, academe, tourism, and lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersexual and asexual (LGBTQIA+) community, highlighting how government investment toward this niche market could contribute to the growth and development of Philippine tourism.
