SIGNAL No. 2 is up over Batanes as Typhoon "Jenny" continues to maintain its strength although over the Philippine Sea, the state-run weather agency said on Tuesday.
Estimated some 350 kilometers east of Basco, Batanes, Jenny is moving west-northwestward at 15 kilometers per hour (kph) with maximum sustained winds of 165kph near the center and gustiness of up to 205kph, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said in a 5 a.m. bulletin.
