ORGANIZED labor has expressed its full support to the government's "Malaya Rice Project," which it said would greatly benefit millions of minimum wage earners and informal sector workers.
The Federation of Free Workers (FFW) said on Sunday the project, an initiative of the House of Representatives and the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), will alleviate the burdens of poverty brought about by soaring prices of essential commodities, particularly rice.
