Sept. inflation data seen moving market

SENTIMENT over inflation and the likely policy response could determine the stock market's direction during the opening week of the fourth quarter, analysts said.

A six-day rally by the benchmark Philippine Stock Exchange Index (PSEi) came to an end last Friday via a 1.01-percent drop to 6,321.24. Week-on-week, however, the bourse still closed 2.9 percent higher.
