INFLATION is expected to have picked up in September due to high electricity and food prices, analysts polled by The Manila Times said.
The median forecast in a survey of 11 economists was 5.4 percent, within the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas' (BSP) 5.3- to 6.1-percent projection for the month.
