Temples, teas, pagodas, and so much more. I recently visited the beautiful and historical city of Quanzhou, China. Quanzhou was part of the ancient maritime silk road that fostered trade and commerce between the East and West in the past.

Presently, Quanzhou has much cause for celebration as it just commemorated the second anniversary of its inclusion in the Unesco World Heritage Sites — a list that has so far designated over a thousand places of outstanding locations and destinations with rich cultural heritage globally.
