Gilas faces Qatar in must-win game to secure QF spot

Still licking its wound following its 25-point beating at the hands of Jordan, Gilas Pilipinas will face Qatar in a knockout match on Monday, Oct. 2, with the winner securing a quarterfinal ticket in the 19th Asian Games men's basketball at the Hangzhou Zhejiang University Zijingang Gymnasium in Hangzhou, China.

Game time is 4 p.m., with the Filipinos gunning for the all-important win that will keep their gold medal hopes alive in the quadrennial games.
