DENR suspends protected area agreement with SBSI

THE Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) suspended the Protected Area Community-Based Resource Management Agreement (Pacbrma) with the people's organization Socorro Bayanihan Services Inc. (SBSI).

In a statement on Friday, DENR said that Environment chief Maria Antonia Yulo-Loyzaga issued a letter of suspension on Friday to SBSI in relation to its 'gross violation of the terms and conditions of the Pacbrma.'
