PICTURE this: Teachers, free from the cumbersome task of record-keeping, could now focus solely on what they excel at — teaching. That's what Deng Silorio, head of Honcho of Intelimina, envisioned when she set out to create Grado, a comprehensive online school system.
I first interviewed Silorio in 2019 during Women's month, when I wrote about her dual roles as a tech visionary and a social entrepreneur. Intelimina, her brainchild, nurtures applications that amplify her advocacy for education and health. Among these innovative creations is Grado, which is described as "a comprehensive solution that includes the management of historical permanent records of students, ensuring the integrity and accessibility of vital educational data."
