DAVAO CITY: At least 32 individuals were arrested in Davao Region for violating the Commission on Elections (Comelec) gun ban for the 2023 Barangay and Sangguniang Kabataan Elections (BSKE) since the start of the election period on August 28.
Police Regional Office-11 spokesman Maj. Catherine dela Rey reported in a press briefing on Wednesday, September 27, that 36 long and short firearms and 18 bladed weapons have been confiscated from 32 individuals who violated the election gun ban.
