Vivant unit signs power deal with Samal power firm

'SSREC is a renewable energy developer that is in the process of developing a solar photovoltaic power project with a total capacity of 52 megawatts direct current in Samal, Bataan, Philippines,' Vivant said in a statement.

'Meanwhile, SSREC's obligations to construct the plant and to supply the contracted energy is subject to the condition precedent of a successful financial close to secure debt financing for the project. The solar photovoltaic power facility is scheduled to be completed within the 2nd quarter of 2025,' it added.
